Junior Full Stack Developer (React/Node/AI-Assisted)

Our client is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to join a small engineering team modernizing production applications through AI-assisted development. This opportunity is ideal for a developer who enjoys building real features, working with modern JavaScript technologies, and using AI coding tools while maintaining strong engineering fundamentals, code quality, and ownership.

• Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months)
• Location: as Vegas, NV (100% Onsite)
• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $40–$45/hour W2, with potential conversion to $80,000–$90,000 annually.
• This position does not offer sponsorship

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and enhance production applications using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code to build, debug, and improve application features.
• Develop and maintain APIs, integrate databases, and support full-stack application functionality.
• Collaborate with engineers through Git workflows, pull requests, code reviews, and testing to deliver production-quality code.
• Follow established AI development standards, including shared rules, reusable skills, and agent-based workflows, while taking ownership of code quality.

What Gets You the Job:

• 1–3 years of professional software development experience or equivalent hands-on experience delivering complete applications.
• Solid TypeScript and React development skills, with experience in Next.js and Node.js-based APIs.
• Experience working with MongoDB or another document database, including CRUD operations, basic data modeling, and indexing.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools on real projects, or a strong development background with demonstrated agentic AI-assisted development experience.
• Understanding of Git workflows, pull requests, debugging, and testing, with the ability to explain and take ownership of code. Experience with NestJS, Jest, OpenAPI, or Cursor-specific workflows is preferred.
